The Creation of Human and Jinn

The Creation of Human and Jinn as Slave of Allah - All forms of creation have a purpose that has been determined by Allah The Creator.  So was the creation of beings, including jinns and men.

The aim of creation.

In fact the God has given a clear reason related to the purpose of the creation of man and genie nation. This reason is stated in Quran surah az-Zariyat verses 56-58.

"I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me. I do not desire any sustenance from them, and I do not desire that they should feed Me. Indeed Allah is the Giver of Sustenance, the Most Strong."

From these verses Allah created a nation of jinn and humans with the aim that they worship the Creator.

The meaning of worship

The meaning of worship in this verse has a broad understanding. Including how words, views, affection to bear the fruit of worship. "The coming of us to the places that God has pleased is also rewarded. Also with our intention to serve God in worship and leave other than God in worship," said Seikh Amri in one of the Islamic studies in Jakarta.

Furthermore, he explained, the estuary of worship in this sense includes also serving God, namely not worshipping or kowtowing to other than Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. This is the word of tawhid which has a great meaning.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) even spent 10 years preaching in Makkah to invite the Quraysh and its surroundings to uphold the word tawhid.

Not only that, a number of prophets and apostles sent before the Prophet Muhammad SAW also tried to invite his people to worship Allah SWT and there is no deity other than Allah.

The efforts of the Prophets and the Apostles were also tested by their people. He said, "O my people, indeed I have come to you with a clear signs. After that there was also a da'wah (call) that the Prophet did to the Thamud.

Abraham said, "O my people, worship God; We gave Moses the Book, and made it a statement for the people of Lot. The call of Moses was also made to the Children of Israel to worship Allah and leave other gods.

The calls of the Prophets.

All the calls or invitations from the prophets and the apostles led to the word of tawhid. Sentences that have the meaning of exalting something, make it all for God. Including worship, prostration, and ask only to Allah.

This is a sign for the people of understanding, the phrase tawhid (meaning the oneness of God) becomes the first expression of a person to become a Muslim.

As a result, with this sentence, a person has pledged to worship only Allah.

Not only that, based on the pledge of the word tawhid, throughout the life a Muslim must worship on the basis of recognition of the oneness of Allah the Almighty.

This condition also affects when a Muslim must submit and obey the rules of Allah. "A Muslim is a person who submits and has totality to the rules of Him.

From this tawhid sentence can also be seen to be the beginning and the basis of why Allah the Almighty created a nation of jinn and humans, but to worship Him.
